Where is the Hidden album password on iPhone?
Apple documents no separate password for the Hidden album. Its page says the album is locked by default and "requires authentication to unlock in Photos", which on iPhone means Face ID or Touch ID. So there is no album password to set or reset. What you can change is the phone's passcode and the faces or fingerprints it accepts.
What Apple says
On iOS 16 and later, the Hidden album is locked by default. On iPhone and iPad you unlock it with Face ID or Touch ID. Apple's page does not describe a separate password, a way to set one, or a way to turn the lock off per album.
What you can change
- The passcode. Settings, Face ID & Passcode, enter your current passcode, then Change Passcode. Passcode Options let you choose a four-digit numeric code, a custom numeric code or a custom alphanumeric code.
- Face ID or Touch ID. Both are managed in the same Settings screen.
- Whether the album shows. Settings, Apps, Photos, "Show Hidden Album". Turning it off hides the album and Apple says hidden photos are then not visible in Photos. It is not a password.
What this does not cover
There is no way to give the Hidden album a different credential from the rest of your phone, as far as Apple documents. If you share a passcode with someone, you share access to the album. If you need a credential that is only for those photos, that has to come from another tool.
