StrongRoom is a private vault for photos, videos and documents on iPhone: no account, no cloud, no analytics.

StrongRoom keeps photos, videos and documents encrypted on your iPhone behind a pattern or passphrase only you know. The app makes no network connections of its own, needs no account and collects no data. It offers an in-app camera, folders, and encrypted Export and Share Packages. It is free for one Vault of up to 10 items, with an optional Pro for unlimited items, more Vaults and a Duress Vault.

What makes it different
- The app makes no network connections of its own.
- There is no cloud backup, on purpose; an Export Package you make yourself restores a Vault on a new iPhone.
- A Duress Vault, a Pro feature, erases the other Vaults when opened.
- Items are encrypted with a key each, and the master key is tied to the phone's Secure Enclave.
- Pro charges for room, extra Vaults and the Duress Vault; recovery, export and the Empty Vault are free.
What it does not do
No cloud backup or sync, no iPad in 1.0, no disguise, no Face ID. See /security/limits/.
