How do I restore my StrongRoom Pro purchase?

Open StrongRoom, go to Settings, open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Both the lifetime purchase and a subscription restore this way. Restoring brings back Pro; it does not bring back Vaults, which need an Export Package.

Why

Pro is bought through Apple, not through us, and we keep no purchase data of our own. The app checks your purchase on the phone against Apple's own record, so the phone needs a connection to Apple for the check, even though the rest of StrongRoom works offline. That is why the Apple Account matters: if you bought Pro with one account and sign in to the App Store with another, the app finds nothing to restore.

What to do

1. Make sure the phone is signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account that bought Pro, and that it is online.
2. Open StrongRoom, then Settings, then Pro.
3. Tap Restore purchases.
4. Wait a moment. If Pro does not return, check the account in your device settings and try again.
5. If you reinstalled the app, remember that your Vaults are not restored with it: restore each from its Export Package with its Recovery Phrase.

If a subscription ran out, Restore purchases cannot revive it; you would subscribe again. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

What this does not cover

It does not cover refunds, which Apple handles through its own request process rather than through us. Apple's page on requesting a refund is listed under Sources. It also does not cover a purchase made with a different Apple Account, or Family Sharing, which this page does not describe because we have not checked Apple's current rules for it.
